Team Vicious have a long night

After posting some very impressive times in the first qualifying run, Team Vicious Rumor came unstuck in their Ferrari 458 Italia.

We suspect a case of the “red mist” took over at the top of the hill which lead to an over correction and eventual impact which caused major damage to the front of the Vicious Rumor car.

The red flag was flung and the red beauty was carried back to pits.

It was a sorry sight

It was a sorry sight

During unloading the Vicious Rumor team took advantage of the built in air jacks as they allowed for go-jacks to slip underneath the wheels and roll the unfortunate car into the garage for inspection.

Dean Canto came to survey the scene during unloading and it was safe to say his expression of unease said it all.

From announcements across the PA system we came to understand that the team stripped the full body and were welding the front sub frame in an effort to get it back out on the track.

About the author: Lloyd Waldron

Cars are more then transport, they represent more than freedom or independence and they are a part of our identity. Cars reflect the personality of their owners. You can instantly tell if the owner takes pride in themselves; you'll know if they have a messy bedroom and occasionally you'll guess their sense of humor. Cars say so much about people, so I figure I should say something about them..
