MR2 engine investigation

It’s highly upsetting to discover you have done serious damage to something you love and have a great deal of pleasure using. Rather crudely put consider a dog being neutered. Like the dog missing his balls I’m sad and upset that this MR2 isn’t working, still on the bright side this doesn’t directly effect my ability to procreate. “HELLO LADIES ;)”

Arriving at home, there was a fair bit of urgency to discover what i had done. I jacked up the car, ran the engine to hear a very disturbing ticking. I drained the oil removed the exhaust and sump to inspect further.

Metal was everywhere in the wind tray, I’d done a bearing! It was official I had to remove this engine, strip it, clean it and put it back together, replacing any other damage I caused along the way. BUGGER!

About the author: Lloyd Waldron

Cars are more then transport, they represent more than freedom or independence and they are a part of our identity. Cars reflect the personality of their owners. You can instantly tell if the owner takes pride in themselves; you'll know if they have a messy bedroom and occasionally you'll guess their sense of humor. Cars say so much about people, so I figure I should say something about them..
