Cars and Coffee + Ferrari Concours

Car enthusiasts in Melbourne were in for a real treat on Sunday May 3rd, with not one but two major events being held; Custom Cars & Coffee at Sandown Raceway, and the 2015 Ferrari Concours d’Elegance at Como Park.

Due to the unpredictability of Melbourne weather at this time of year this was the last Custom Cars & Coffee Brandon Chan and the GT Car Club have organised for the season. Reflecting this there were some superb and exotic cars on show, particularly from the Otium Club, with many members attending. Otium means leisure or lifestyle in Latin, and the cars present (Including a Lamborghini Diablo, Murcielago, Aventador and current model Aston Martin Vanquish to name just a few) certainly had plenty of style.

Interestingly at the annual Ferrari Concours d’Elegance (Organised by the Ferrari Club of Victoria and sponsored by Zagame Automotive) there were sports cars from other Italian brands on display, including Maserati and Fiat, making the event quite memorable indeed.

Custom Cars and Coffee is dedicated to the Australian motoring enthusiast community. It is intended to unite hundreds of proud owners across Melbourne, providing the opportunity for a chat, to meet new and old friends while sharing a coffee. It has been developed so that everyone attending will be able to enjoy each event; with owners of classics, exotics, hot rods, imports, modern sports cars and bikes all welcome.
