100MM Presents: Certified 2014
On February 22 Melbourne based car enthusiast group 100MM held their second official event, Certified 2014.
A festival of car, exotic food and live music; the event was held alongside the Yarra River at New Quay Piazza in Docklands. Reflecting how close the location was to the heart of Melbourne, prominent landmarks including Etihad Stadium and Bolte Bridge can be seen in the background of the photos.
Various car clubs including the GT Car Club of Melbourne, Zoom Garage, and the Melbourne Supercar Club were present, as well as models Kara Bramham & Katrina Fogarty.
Some of the more unique vehicles on display included a race spec Lotus Esprit with a modified front bumper, containing no less than four extra headlights neatly mounted behind a flush fitting acrylic cover, and a Lincoln fitted with hydraulic suspension.
My favorite car from the show would have to be the Ultima GTR, with its ultra low & purposeful stance. Others agreed with my opinion, as it was awarded the “Best of show”!
100MM: Cars, food and music. All in the heart of Melbourne. Definitely an event to add to your calendar for 2015!
